Iowa's school boards and school administrators have consistently prioritized their own ideologies over the education our children receive. As a result, many top positions within our schools have been handed to unqualified, and in many cases, dishonest people simply because they were the right color. This is illegal, but more important, it is immoral. It compromises our children's education, it is an abuse of Board and administrator authority, it disrespects the tax payer and the tax payer's family. In the best case scenario it embraces the unqualified candidates who are hired. In the worst, it ruins their careers.

We want to point out that the quota-hires themselves are not being blamed here. It could be argued that the selfish and irresponsible behavior of the school boards and administrators set the trap with bait that these folks understandably could not resist. The childlike, self-serving giddiness with which the liberals school boards and administrators pursued these minority hires made it extremely difficult for any rational human to do the right thing. Worse, the fanning adoration with which these gullible, naive (and racist) boards piled on the new hires understandably fooled them into believing they were indeed special. When they were not. It is the Boards, not the candidates they hired who should be condemned. 

This effort started with the king pin of the Grand Delusion, "Dr" Ian Roberts. His story shines a particularly bright light on the liberal school board's naive and reckless wishful thinking. But as it turns out, his manipulation of the easily led Des Moines School Board is just the most blatant of a series of abuses of power across the State, and certainly nationally.
